Top Five Blogs of 2021!

Top Five Blogs of 2021!

It is hard to believe another year has come and gone. As we look back on 2021, we are filled with gratitude for the Zentangle Community and the peace, calm and camaraderie that you bring, especially during difficult times.

One of our favorite ways to connect with the Zentangle Community is here, through our Zentangle Blog. Over the years, you have helped us create a place for Zentangle ideas, problem solving and thought provoking conversations.

At the end of each year, we like to take a look back at all of those conversations. This year, we shared 59 blog posts with you and today, we are sharing the Top Five Blogs of 2021. If you have already read these posts, we think they are worth visiting again. If you missed these the first time around, they are not to be missed again.

Enjoy!

  1. A Zentangle Timeline - Rick Roberts (July 20th)
  2. Humble Beginnings - Julie Willand (June 29)

  4. What's One To Do? Tangle! - Julie Willand (May 12th)
  5. CZT Family Tree: Katrina Thibaut - Bijou (January 27th)

As we look forward to 2022, we invite you to share in the comments of this blog what topics you would like us to address in our blog this coming year.

  • Zentangle has been my truest comfort for all Seasons. Zentangle has kept me company for most of my life, long before I knew there is a name for all of the miles of Doodlings I have made. It is truly electrifying to share my passion with Family and Friends…🤗

  • The Zentangle Blog is always interesting and usually includes such beautiful tiles. Your top five blogs for 2021 were well worth visiting again.

  • Beautiful tiles! I feel so bad that I missed doing them…love the hearts! Where they in a project pack? Looking back on the 5 top blogs is an excellent idea. I really love them all so would find that if I had to pick my top 5 it would be virtually impossible! Lastly, I would like to compliment you on the 2021 12 Days of Zentangle Project Pack. It was so much fun to create. I love all the dimension in this project pack. It’s inspired me to create a ‘whole bunch’ of tangle decorations for next years Christmas tree….I can just imagine they will make the most interesting, beautiful, original and unique Christmas tree ever!!!! Thank you so much for all your inspiration and ideas!

  • I have been a sporadic tangler ever since I took a class with a CZT in Illinois a few years ago. I have missed several of the project packs so this December I decided to revisit all of the days of each pack. I can’t wait to see the changes as I move along! I’m a crafter with fingers in many mediums, but Zentangles are by far the easiest to take everywhere!

  • So interesting to see the list of top posts – & yes, you’re absolutely right – well worth a second look. I worked out which edition of the Kit of I have, one of my tangling treasures together with the Zentangle Primer. Amazing to think it was way back in 2003 that it all began. The most fascinating blog of all for me is the Humble Beginnings post, such a valuable attitude & important to keep in mind when we find ourselves getting discouraged.

Thank you for all of you & all you do.
