Hello Dear Tanglers,

The blog today is simple. It is just a way for us to show our appreciation​ to all of you, the amaZingly wonderful Zentangle artists we have had the pleasure of meeting, whether in person or in spirit.

  • To look at the mandala above is breathtaking…then I remember that it, too, is made one stroke at a time. Thanks for giving us the philosophy and the techniques to breath and create our own tangles. (Middle school students love the challenge of patterns and the centering of their minds, even if they aren’t aware that is what they are doing!)

  • I just taught a class and it was amazing as always. The reaction of those new to Zentangle is always the same. Comments like “well I am not really creative so I don’t think I can do this” then fear steps in front, tension rise and once I begin it all fades away in the end they can’t believe that they made what they did. To witness that is such a gift. To see them hold out their tile at arms length, turning it admiring it is just so cool. Thank you for the excellent training you provided and continue to.
