International Day of Zentangle

The Zentangle community spans continents, languages, and cultures, yet we are all connected through the simple practice of drawing one stroke at a time. On the International Day of Zentangle we invite tanglers from around the world to celebrate that connection with us during a special live-streamed event. 

We want to thank everyone who joined us for the 2026 International Day of Zentangle! For the third year in a row, we were able to celebrate with tanglers from all over the world! Thousands of tanglers joined us from near and far, at all hours of the day and night, as Rick and Maria taught a tangle to celebrate the occasion.

Each year we use this opportunity to both celebrate our tangling community all over the world and to raise money for the Zentangle Foundation. The foundation was founded with three pillars of support: community outreach, scholarship, and research using the Zentangle Method. Donations can be made during the live event on YouTube or at anytime on the foundation website.
