International Day of Zentangle
Twenty-one years ago, in July 2004, Rick and Maria gave their first public Zentangle workshop. Therefore, we have designated July 15 as the International Day of Zentangle.
In gratitude and celebration, for the second consecutive year, tanglers from around the world are invited to join Rick and Maria to tangle together on YouTube Livestream on Tuesday, July 15, 2025,at 10am EDT. We will add more details here as the event gets closer.
Last year we had over 3,000 tanglers join us from all over the world and at all hours of the day and night and raised over $2,000 dollars for the Zentangle Foundation. The foundation has recently supported programs that work with veterans, people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones, people in recovery, teenagers, and outreach programs with museums. It is also in the process of supporting a study on the use of the Zentangle Method with people dealing with substance use disorder.
