International Day of Zentangle

Twenty-one years ago, in July 2004, Rick and Maria gave their first public Zentangle workshop. Therefore, we have designated July 15 as the International Day of Zentangle.

In gratitude and celebration, for the third consecutive year, tanglers from around the world are invited to join ZHQ to tangle together on YouTube Livestream on July 15, 2026. We will add more details here as the event gets closer.

Each year we use this opportunity to both celebrate our tangling community all over the world and to raise money for the Zentangle Foundation. The foundation was founded with three pillars of support: community outreach, scholarship, and research using the Zentangle Method. Donations can be made during the live event on YouTube or at anytime on the foundation website.
