Project Pack .04 -- 12 Days of Zentangle - Day 10

Welcome to Day 10 of the 12 Days of Zentangle!

Enjoy!

Alfie found Maria's beaded tape measure and decided to take the measure of Rick's tangles from yesterday,

"That's nuts," says Santa.

On this tenth day of Zentangle, Molly proudly parades with the jonqal, munchin and centipede, but runs back to bring along the sampson and 'nzeppel that had fallen behind.

  • I love my spinner…thinking about making more so that I can include all of the tangles in my Zenthology. A great reference. Idea: How about creating a template of the spinner without the numbers & letters and hole in the middle…This would be great to frame and hang on our walls.

  • Another great video! Thanks so much.

  • It’s gotten to the point where it wouldn’t be the holidays without Inspiration from Alfie!

  • your presentation today was off the charts! Many thanks for encouraging us to slow down and enjoy the process! Have a great holiday!!

  • I’m going to be sad in 2 more days

  • So beautiful, Molly! Thanks. ~ Rose

  • Jonqal is probably the first or second tangle I learned. Fast-forward a few years, and it remains a favorite of mine. It’s deceptive in its ease, for there’s a million variations for it. Glad to see it today.

  • Sampson is pretty cool! Haven’t used it before.

  • These tangles really compliment each other. Thanks

  • Lovely as always!

  • I haven’t done jonqal a lot, so this was a great challenge for me. :) Thank you!

  • Molly’s reminders to slow down are well-taken. I can get into some of these old favorites, knock them off too quickly then wonder why I’m not happy with the results! Slower definitely works better. Thank you, Molly.

  • What great inspiration!!!

  • Thank you! I especially appreciate the lesson on Munchin as I feel I understand it much better now. The Crazy ‘Nzeppel turned out so beautifully.

  • You guys are throwing out tangles I have never tried! Love it!

    Shelly Tiefenthaler on

  • I love the deep blue and blank spaces on this spinner! Thanks for another wonderfully calming lesson!

    Beth Lovelle on

  • Another fun day of tangling! So fun to hear about the tangles and carve a bit of space in the busy days to tangle.

    Kate Ahrens on

  • Glad to know Sampson and Centipede, never heard before… it is so pleasant, to see the patterns “come to life” thanks to the shadow. Very good lesson Molly.

    Ria Matheussen on

  • Wonderful tangles that I don’t often use, except n’zeppel. Am enjoying these today. Thank you, Molly.

  • I just have to say that this is SOOO much fun watching these videos. I’m learning a lot about the history. Work has me tied up so I haven’t been able to start my spinner, but I can’t wait. I feel like a kid waiting for my Christmas holiday.

    Susie Schiffler on

  • The first 2 tangles are my favorites too!

    Debbie J on

  • It’s funny – I learned Jonqal early in my Zentangle journey and really didn’t ‘get it’ – but I tried it again recently and really understood its charm. I think we need and connect with different tangles at different times. Zentangle offers up so many life lessons, just ripe for the picking.

    Jem Miller on

  • Yay! Molly used ’nzeppel—my very favorite tangle. Lol.
