Welcome to Day 10 of the 12 Days of Zentangle! Enjoy! Alfie found Maria's beaded tape measure and decided to take the measure of Rick's tangles from yesterday,
"That's nuts," says Santa.
On this tenth day of Zentangle, Molly proudly parades with the jonqal, munchin and centipede, but runs back to bring along the sampson and 'nzeppel that had fallen behind.

Jonqal is probably the first or second tangle I learned. Fast-forward a few years, and it remains a favorite of mine. It’s deceptive in its ease, for there’s a million variations for it. Glad to see it today.

Molly’s reminders to slow down are well-taken. I can get into some of these old favorites, knock them off too quickly then wonder why I’m not happy with the results! Slower definitely works better. Thank you, Molly.

I just have to say that this is SOOO much fun watching these videos. I’m learning a lot about the history. Work has me tied up so I haven’t been able to start my spinner, but I can’t wait. I feel like a kid waiting for my Christmas holiday.

The first 2 tangles are my favorites too!

It’s funny – I learned Jonqal early in my Zentangle journey and really didn’t ‘get it’ – but I tried it again recently and really understood its charm. I think we need and connect with different tangles at different times. Zentangle offers up so many life lessons, just ripe for the picking.

Yay! Molly used ’nzeppel—my very favorite tangle. Lol.
