As we look forward to beginning a new year, we are, once again, grateful for another amazing year with the Zentangle community and the beauty and inspiration shared with artists all over the world.
One of our favorite ways to connect with the Zentangle community is through our blog. In 2018, we shared 45 posts with you and you all joined us in thought provoking, problem solving, and Zentangle inspired conversations.
Today we share our top 5 blogs of 2018 with you all. If you've already read them, we think they are worth visiting again. If you missed these the first time around, they are not to be missed!
Enjoy!
1. Advice for New Tanglers - Maria Thomas (August 21)
2. How Can I Help? - Jody Genovese, CZT (July 24)
3. Ten to Zen - Molly Hollibaugh (January 16)
4. Zentangle Doppelgänger - Maria Thomas (February 27)
5. Introducing Zentangle in the Early Years - Rick Roberts (January 23)
As we look forward to 2019, we invite you to share in the comments of this blog what topics you would like us to address in our blog this coming year.
Happy New Year from our family to yours!

Thank you for another wonderful year of posts and here’s looking forward to what’s to come.
Sometimes I hit a tangle slump. A point where I feel that my tangle ability seems to regress, and inspiration fizzles out and therefore my connection with the process wavers a bit. It doesn’t happen often, but it shakes me. I think others feel the same sometimes too. I wonder if you do too? and if so I’d love a blog post about that, and how you get out of the slump!

Hi Maria,
As usual, such a beautiful and amazing tile !!! I had a great time re-reading these posts from 2018….
Could you possibly share what steps you did to create those amazing multi layers in this tile ??? These special effects of tangling are so stimulating to try and I just love these !!
Happy New Year’s Eve to all of you at Zentangle HQ 🤗😃🎈🎈✨

Thank you for this list. Personally, each blog post is so insightful, and the comments let me know here is a community that fits me! I found Zentangle in 2018, took your advanced workshop September at 1440 in Santa Cruz, and will be there with you in June for CZT34. It has made such a difference in my life. I hope to be able to do some reaching out to other chronically ill people, and show them how Zentangle can can benefit them, also!
