Hi, Alfie here!
Welcome to day four of The Twelve Days of Zentangle, 2020.
Julie joins us today to guide us in tangling a 3Z tile (or 2 or 3!). Her "joie de vivre" is obvious as she navigates around sandswirl, a tangle designed by Karry Heum.
Julie has always loved tangles with spirals, a strong symbol of the journey and change of life as it unfolds. Watch how she arranges these sandswirl spirals to one end of the 3Z tile, in a pattern that includes the absence of images as well as the images.
She has a purpose in her journey and that will magically unfold at the end of the video.
Thanks, Julie, once more for your passion and art!
Enjoy!
-Alfie

Welcome to the Project Pack No. 12 and the fourth day of the 12 Days of Zentangle!
It goes without saying that 2020 will go down in history as remarkable year. This year we all experienced the unexpected, the unknown and the uncertain. There were challenges that required our patience and strength in order for us to contribute to what the world needed.
In our Zentangle practice we encourage you to embrace the unexpected, the unknown and the uncertain as a part of your creative process. We encourage you to look for opportunities and to shift your perspective.
As we bring a close to a pivotal year in history, Project Pack No. 12 will offer us a magical time of rebirth, restoration, and awakening. We are excited to begin this year’s 12 Days of Zentangle, that we are calling the 2020 Zentangle Renaissance.

Rick Roberts, he tasks me! To paraphrase Khan, paraphrasing Melville. The symmetry, the geometry, the bloody lines meeting in an exact spot to create the design! But, I try and I try till I finally succeed in drawing a tile that remotely resembles the perfectly drawn geometric, mathematical creation RR has demonstrated. I’ve been wanting to get this off my chest for years! There, it’s out! Thank you for the challenge. I stress ate, I went through 4 tiles, but I got it! I always do, eventually!
