Zentangled Inspired Gift Giving and Decor
As we gear up for the Holiday season, we tanglers have the special talent of being able to create or embellish our own gifts and decorations for this festive time of year. If you are looking for inspiration we have been enjoying the "cartouche" technique as a wonderful platform for creating such items. Using photos, ephemera, or special trinkets combined with the artistic touch of tangles you get a wonderful personal and emotionally charged special something to either give away or keep and enjoy. The sky is the limit with this technique, and we have put together a few special bundles to get you going, but really all of our tangling products work great for creating this way. Think about filling a Zentangle journal with family photos and memorabilia from the past year or years. Or maybe creating a "family tree" by creating cartouche photo ornaments of all your friends, family and pets and hanging them on a small tree. You could make a gift card holder out of two tangled tiles glued or taped together ... I am not sure what is better to receive the gift card or the handmade package.
