When I take a picture, I look for beauty in my viewfinder. If I’m taking a picture of a person, I look for an uplifting part of their personality. And whatever the subject, I work towards a pleasing geometry of scene. In 2014, we were thrilled to announce a new member of the Zentangle Community. It was a celebratory time when Bijou the snail slowly and lovingly glided his way into our hearts and lives. We immediately fell in love with the unique character Bijou shared with us, and most of all we all, we embraced the stories and messages Bijou has told us that align with the Zentangle Method. There are always people, perhaps you are one of them, who first saw Zentangle art and said, “I can’t do that.” We always say that if you can write your name, you can create Zentangle art.
