Project Pack .04 -- 12 Days of Zentangle - Day 8

Welcome to Day 8 of the 12 Days of Zentangle!

Enjoy!

Alfie so enjoyed Rick's tangling yesterday in just black and white that he got out Rick's grandfather's hat and found his own black and white hat for the photo shoot.

On this eighth day of Zentangle, Julie bales her way to the crescent moon, but is stopped by a shattuck where she meets an indyrella wearing a marasu.

  • Multitangling!

  • Marasu always looked so intimidating but you explained it so simply. It was a good reminder that all the tangles are simple – one line at a time. Thank you for today’s lesson!!

  • Love how you taught Shattuck! Will definitely share this with my classes, Julie! Thanks for a great lesson!

  • Wow, just wow!

  • Alfie’s hat is charming. Thank you Julie! I enjoyed the tangles in this wedge. So excited to have you choose Marasu – i think it is quite interesting. The white charcoal does highlight the spiral. It looks like a peppermint stripe – kind of. My first ever tangle was Crescent Moon in my first class, it was nice to revisit this tangle, and move forward. .

  • It’s probably just me, but I like to hear shapes referred to as “rice shapes” and “ladybugs”. Lol.

  • Well it’s technically December 11 now…just now getting around to doing a wedge or two. I had gotten caught up in a different project today (yesterday?) which required a lot of brain power. I’m not ready to sleep yet so maybe some Zentangle is in order.

  • I made my own, but I am so grateful that I can still follow you all on Youtube, enabling me to do the patterns at my own pace . Some wonderful ‘golden oldies’ in there too which I appreciate “finding” again…….Thanks, THIS is what Christmas is all about!

  • I love the advice about filling/coloring in the spaces. I know that at times I find myself wanting to rush through it. Now will make sure that I take more conscience time on that part of the tangles.
