In-person Teacher Training

We invite you to join the global community of Certified Zentangle Teachers! CZT 44 will welcome both online and in-person attendees from across the world. This teacher training is taught in English in front of a global audience. 

Attendance Options:

  • Shared Room Student - (Double Queen Room-sharing with one person) Includes all classroom sessions, additional video teaching content, supplies and meals/snacks beginning with Sunday night dinner and ending with Wednesday lunch.

  • Private Room Student - Private Room (Single King-Standard room) Includes all classroom sessions, additional video teaching content, supplies and meals/snacks beginning with Sunday night dinner and ending with Wednesday lunch

  • 19+ Hours of Live, English Instruction - An extraordinary event and curriculum designed over many years to provide a comprehensive understanding of the history, techniques and philosophies behind the Zentangle Method of drawing and how to teach it to others. Presented by Zentangle® Co-founders Rick Roberts, Maria Thomas, along with daughters Molly Hollibaugh and Martha Huggins and their wonderful Zentangle staff.
  • 3 Nights Accommodation at the Mystic Marriott in Mystic Connecticut. Information on extending those dates is available after you register. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

Before the Training

Day in the Life- During the Training

Sunday:  - Your journey truly begins when you arrive at the Mystic Marriott.  Zentangle staff will be ready to greet you after 2pm and your hotel room will be ready by 4pm. 
Our coveted Zentangle store will be open to get everyone inspired and there will be fun activities for anyone wishing to partake. We feel that our first day together should be used to settle in and get acquainted with the beautiful surroundings and possibly new time zone. 
We will host relaxed, optional activities and opportunities to meet and connect with your classmates mixing tangling fun with plenty of time for rest so that we are all at our best for Monday morning class. We host a special warm-up class at 5pm (to get our creative wiggles out!) followed by a welcome dinner celebration.
We know how important it is for you to meet and talk with and understand the people behind this company you are planning to work with. At CZT Training, you will have ample time to meet and get to know us and our staff. We do our best to bring you into our Zentangle family and know you will be inspired when you leave.


Monday- Wednesday: These days are dedicated to class time from 9:00am to 6:30pm (Wednesday concludes approximately at 5:00pm). There are ample breaks throughout the days to keep us all refreshed and motivated. During the evenings, we offer open tangling, shopping, puzzles, games and more! Throughout it all, energized conversations are occurring, and magical alliances are forming, you will meet and make friends with wonderful people from all around this world!

Important experiences occur during CZT seminars that can't be conveyed with written words. There is a dynamic when a group of wonderful people with a shared vision gather in common purpose. It's exciting to be a part of that! Inspirations cascade over insights and shine so brilliantly and beautifully that everyone can see it. We treasure every moment.

Even though we have now taught over 40 CZT trainings, each one evolves with the personality of the group. That is why some CZTs return time and time again!

What is Not Included:

•    A guarantee that you will make money. Even colleges and universities will not guarantee that.
•    Advice on how to run a business or handle your taxes – It is beyond the scope of our training.
•    Assignment of territories - People move and there are so many applications for teaching the Zentangle Method within any one area: Schools, businesses, clubs, health care, etc.

This non-refundable fee reserves your place in the class. An invoice for the remaining balance will be emailed soon and will be due by direct bank draft, credit card, or check in 60 days or by the due date on your invoice.
