Pens
When we (Maria and Rick) designed the Zentangle Method, we wanted the best paper and pens we could practically find.
We went to an art store and bought samples of all their fine black pens. Then we visited a good friend who sold beautiful paper from all over the world.
We sat on the floor of his office and tested each pen on each paper. At the end of that day, we selected Fabriano Tiepolo from Italy as our paper and the black Sakura Pigma® Micron 01 as our pen.
And so began a wonderful relationship with the good people of Sakura and their quality products.
