Project Pack .04 -- 12 Days of Zentangle - Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of the 12 Days of Zentangle!

Enjoy!

Alfie can't wait to assemble the spinner into Maria's tangled masterpiece from yesterday. However everyone tells him, "It's not time yet, Alfie!"

On this fifth day of Zentangle, Maria returns inspired and discovers the beautiful magic of bunzos in the quaint seaside village of quabog where, at this special time of year, you can find the zenith flowers bloomING.

  • Now I’m catching up the days I didn’t have time for. Lovely patterns and too nice time to look forward to, when I get my time with tiles and the spinner. I need the relaxing time!
    Thank’s so much!

  • Having so much fun with the “new” way to look at old tangles. I had never done Bunzo before because I did not understand it. Its so simple now! I love it! Thanks!

  • Ahh! Quabog – thanks for the reminder! I used to tangle it quite a bit and then somehow forgot about it. :)

  • I love the tangles in this one.

  • Another fun day and I have enjoyed looking at all the Christmas beauties that have been around Alfie! The carved Santa is lovely!

  • Ahhhh, just spent a relaxing Friday evening watching today’s Project Pack 04 video lesson. Really like the use of the ING pattern as a Reticula. Thank you for teaching us!

  • This year is just packed with tangles

  • I love all these videos. Thanks for all the inspiration.

  • I am loving the daily videos. I don’t have this project pack yet as I have given hints for Christmas (if not will be an after Christmas present to myself) but am following along & tangling on pages I had for helping with each step of a tangle. Instead I am just using each box for each tangle. Thanks so much on all your tips & tricks including ideas on shading as that is a weak point for me.

  • My project pack is here! Time to get tangling!

  • My tangles today came out beautiful. I added more color to the spinner and took the plunge and just went for it. l\Love these tangles.

  • I’ve never used Quabog before. Love the whimsy of it. I love Bunzo and I’m getting more comfortable with Zenith and Ing.

    Great project, so fun!

  • All of the tangles today are ones I haven’t used in my tangles. I like them all!

  • I love this project! I’m finding so much zen!

    Cyndee Pelley on

  • This challenge is so much fun to work with as it takes me back to the foundational tangles where I first began—and reminds me of the beginner’s mind and space where the zen magic happens.

  • I am really enjoying this project and am also very pleased that you have chosen this particular week to start it – plenty of time before the holidays. Thank you for these playful lessons.

    Jennifer on

  • So glad we had Bunzo today, one of my favorite tangles!

    Donna PIlato on

  • Aaaagghh! She put “stuff” in the ING! Wasn’t sure about that, but it’s great. Hope I remember that for another time.

    Margaret Bremner on

  • So much fun each day!

    Andrea Roderiquez on

  • Really want to explore quabog more – thanks for sharing! I love tangles that originate from plants/nature. The mushrooms Rick was referring to our enoki. Love those, too! Cheers!

    Molly on

  • More interesting tangles. I finally got yesterday’s done early this morning. They were really difficult, but they look pretty on my spinner.

    Vickie Stamper on

  • Ran around and did all my errands this morn because I couldn’t wait to sit in my happy place and do art! Quabog adds a nice lightness to this zoned area. Really therapeutic tangle. Love it!

    Heather Toswell on

  • Except “bunzo” all new to me! So great to have the chance to learn more every day, thanks a lot!

    Petra Hadidi on

  • I love how there is a mix of familiar tangles and ones that are new to me. Such fun.
