Kitchen Table Tangles: Embedded Letters

Kitchen Table Tangles: Embedded Letters

Join Rick and Maria at their kitchen table for short conversations as they talk and tangle together exploring Embedded Letters.

Kitchen Table Tangles is a video series created by Rick and Maria while they talk and tangle at their kitchen table.

This video was previously only available to subscribers of the Zentangle Mosaic app, where the full library is available. As the collection grows, we like to make some available to the public.

  • I just got this video last night and have watched it 4 times already. I’ve been zentangling words such as love, hope ect for the past couple of months, mostly like Maria did in the black and white book. I often add tangles around my words but this video showed me so much more! Thanks so much for all your hard work. You are both a pleasure to watch.

  • So excited to see an embedded letters episode! I’ve been mulling over a set of three initial tiles for a friend’s birthday, and this is exactly what I had in mind. I tangled along with you as I watched today, stopping here and there so I didn’t miss anything, using a PN on plain white paper. It’s so much fun. Thank you for this awesome KTT!

  • Both of you take my breath away. Guess what I will be doing tonight in my quiet time. Thank you for all that you have given to me as well as to the world.

  • Wow! Every time I see you guys tangling, I’m just amazed by how you don’t “follow the rules”. (in a good way.) With my tiles, and probably other beginners, every tangle is in it’s own section. But with yours, there’s a little bit of mooka here, a few pearls there. You truly are the masters of zentangle. Thank you.

  • Amazing! I was just working on this very idea over the weekend! I was so excited to see this Kitchen Table Tangle topic. (Great minds?) I could watch Maria letter and tangle all day long, and the conversation with Rick is so calming, and soothing. “ZEN” tangle indeed! Thank you both!
